These stupid little inflatable creatures never cease to put a smile on my face when I see them whipping and dancing around. Although there were 100s of pumpkins everywhere it was the scarecrow I had a desire to draw so I went in search of... Yes there was a scarecrow or two but they were staged in very complex settings- like a still life. Urban sketchers are more about "the scene" yet I always end up with a study that looks like a still life so I pushed to get a scene feel about the efforts. Although I ran short on time I do like my visual token of the scarecrow dancing before the corn maze.
