| "Chris" Conte sticks |
If there is two things I have problems with in my portrait work it's drawing people I know to get a likeness and drawing a moving target. It began with a consistent smile on the sitters face which never works for me as the smile is never the same 10 minuets, 40 minutes, 60 minutes into the pose. Then there was much chatter between the model and the artists including turn of head to face others when they spoke to her. So I will say that this portrait (looking very little like the sitter) is what I would call "inspired by the model" a strong woman.
