Challenge #34: Watcher of the water dish

watcher of the
water dish
Sometimes the challenge is to "find something" to draw. So often we go through life becoming numb to that which we see every day until it becomes the ordinary, declining towards lack of inspiration and finally (practically) blind to that which surrounds us. As an artist some of the  most awe inspiring pieces that I have seen that made me want to be a better artist have been from today's master artists such as Kate Lehman's " Corner sink"
(see-http://www.katelehman.net/things.html)
or Timothy Stotz's "Flake white, china black"
(see-http://silverfortress.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html)
or Dan Thompson's "Heaven and Hell"
 (see-  http://www.artrenewal.org/pages/artist.php?artistid=6608).
So I am now trying to challenge myself with the ordinary. In this sketch I am trying to see how I can interconnect unlikely objects and be able to relate them to one another simply by finding a composition that looks like it is put in reason... instead of just found, as was this piece.
