International Fountain study Seattle Center |
The challenge this week was how to sketch a fountain: constantly moving water. I have read books on marine painting where the author tells the reader to find a moment that stands out then paint from memory. I feel that it is better to get the rhythm of what is happening then try to emanate that movement in varying degrees with regards to perspective and natures own law of gravity. Now all I need is a stronger white.
