Sometimes I believe too much thought can be dangerous. I went in for a brainstorming session to design 3-5 5x7 formatted pieces for a holiday show. Fully equipped with linoleum and cutters, I thought- 2 hours to sketch, 2 hours to carve. Then I started thinking about it. 4 hours later I had 6 sketches and I'm not even through image #3 yet The worse part is, I was so open to the ideas that I'm not sure whether I want to make relief prints, ink wash images, small paintings... back to the drawing board!
