Challenge #44: The Sketchbook Project 2015 "Wander"

If you have followed this blog you will notice that each year I try to begin with challenging myself to do something different in the sketchbooks. This year is no different. I actually committed myself to the international "Sketchbook Project" this year home- based in Brooklyn. If you have an interest in sketchbooks (or my work) and you don't know what that event is then dash over to https://www.sketchbookproject.com/ and check it out! It begins with a blank, simple, plain bound collection of blank pages. and each artist has less than 3 months to fill the pages under a theme. Because I am " gypsieartist" it only seemed right to choose "Wander" as my theme among those offered within my sponsors' perimeter.
Sure, I will keep with my regular regiment of  goofing around to fill the pages as well as the Urban Sketch group and (in summer) the plein air group but for the remaining next month I will be focused on the sketchbook "wanderings" through the pages and (wondering) where it takes me so stay tuned for updates on that effort. Until then... keeps those pencils pushing!
