Challenge #9: Cast eye in Conte'



#2 "One of four-eye" conte'



  Another week goes by, another eye is rendered in black and white. This time I thought in my "One of Four" trials I would branch into different mediums this set. Therefore my eye study #2 is conte' which is a medium that in the past I tried, hated, tried with mixed other mediums, still hated and now 5-7 years am trying again and learning to like it. Thus with maybe only 40-50 hours of experience with conte' accumulated over the year, it seemed a good medium to challenge my hand/eye/medium coordination. I find the conte, though unforgiving in error and removal, similar to the boldness of charcoal yet more precise in detail work.
