Tacoma rooftops 6x9 watercolor |
It was a particularly crowded event for Dia de los Muertos at the Tacoma Art Museum the 1st weekend of November but one a creative spirit would be a fool to miss. The most impressive was the giant sand painting as you first walk through the main entrance. Not being one for crowds I dashed through the specified/related displays, strolled through the regular exhibits and ended up on the outdoor balcony- still able to hear the mariachi band while sketching the rooftops of Tacoma.
